Aquascot is hosting EO Day event

Employee ownership (EO) was on the agenda over the weekend as the Scotland on Sunday looked at how the business model is benefiting smaller companies.

Journalist Kristy Dorsey tackled the subject, speaking to software company CAS’ chief executive Ken Naismith. He outlined the benefits EO has brought to the business, which made the transition in January 2014 in an attempt to reverse “the risk of slumping into prolonged decline”.

Also featured in the article is Co-operative Development Scotland chief executive Sarah Deas, who said she expected growth of EO companies in the country to accelerate.

CAS will be taking part in our free ‘Successful Succession’ events across the year, the first of which takes place on EO Day (July 3) at Aquascot in Alness.
